1. What types of Cosi gas lanterns are there?
There are different types of Cosi gas lanterns, including:
- Original Cosiscoop: The Original Cosiscoop lantern is a sleek model in different colors. With a handle on the lantern it is easy to take in or out. There are two models.
- XL Cosiscoop: the XL Cosiscoop is a large version of the original and has a diameter of 20 cm. An extra large lantern naturally means extra atmosphere.
- Basket High cosiscoop: lighting next to the bench is possible with the Cosiscoop Baket High. The gas lantern on a stand has a total height of 76.5, perfect for welding the lounge area.
- Square Cosiscoop: the Cosiscoop Dome, Urban, Timber and Cement are square gas lanterns. This fits perfectly with a sleek interior with angular furniture or as a unique shape in the room.
- Cosiscoop Pillar: the Cosiscoop pillar is a large standing version of the original welding lanterns and its attractive garden columns that provide a unique atmosphere on the terrace or at the entrance with a gas bottle at the bottom.
2. How does a Cosi gas lantern work?
Cosi gas lanterns work on a small gas cartouche.

Free the gas lantern from pebbles and the loose glass.

Open the bottom and place the gas cartouche with red center up in the cap.

Turn the gas cartridge with the cap at the bottom of the gas lantern until a small click can be heard and you can no longer turn further.

Replace the dialing stones. The stones should not cover the burner.

Place the lantern on a stable flat surface and open the control button and light the flame by means of a long match or lighter.
3. Is a Cosi gas lantern safe?
Cosi gas lanterns carry the Gastec certificate and CE mark. This gives the assurance that the gas products are safe to use. This certificate and the quality mark are issued after products with, for example, gas cylinders have been tested in different ways. The use of the gas lantern is therefore safe, both indoors and outdoors.
4. Can the Cosi gas lantern be used indoors?
A Cosi gas lantern can be easily used indoors provided that the following requirements are met:

Interior space of at least 30 m ³.

Provide adequate ventilation. For example, open ventilation grilles above the window or door.
- Ventilation opening on the gas lantern itself must not be blocked. So do not use tape or other material to seal any open edges or holes.
- Always place the Cosiscoop on the flat surface possible to see the most beautiful flame and prevent unsafe situations.
5. How long does a gas bottle last with a Cosi gas lantern?
The burning time of a gas cartridge is approximately 5-6 hours. The Cosiscoop Pillar works on a 5 kg gas bottle and lasts about 70 hours.
6. How do I maintain a Cosi gas lantern?

Regularly release the burner from dust and dirt.

Take the glass out of the lantern and clean it with glass cleaner. Dry well after cleaning.
