In the base of the barbecue is a place to store firewood and any barbecue tools. This way, you will have dry firewood and handy tongs and spatulas to hand every time the barbecue is lit. The wood storage is completely closed at the bottom and the back, so the firewood stays dry and can always be used. If you do not use the barbecue for a while, it is still advisable to store the wood in a dry place indoors.
Griddle and grill grid in one
The barbecue's griddle lies in the fire bowl, with the rim of the fire bowl rising slightly above the plate. This is very handy to prevent oil stains on the patio and keep the food from falling off the plate when oil is used. The griddle is slightly different from the usually griddle plates available.
