Woks over an open fire are easy and safe with this Barebones wok. The extra long handle of 42 cm gives extra security when wok over open fire and makes cooking outside more fun. With an included ring base you can place the wok pan above the fire and you can use several pans at the same time.

The wok in use 

The long handle ensures that you can cook safely and comfortably by open fire. Thanks to the suspension eye, the pan is easy to clean up. The bowl is made of Hot Blued Carbon Steel and the Walnut handle. The stainless steel and copper band ensure that the wooden handle is protected from the fire. The included ring base ensures that you can put the pan in the desired cooking position, without holding the handle. Briquettes can also be placed in this ring in order to grill easily. 

Does the steel color fade over time? 

The blue color is temporary. Due to the correct use and maintenance, the surface will turn black over time. The carbon steel is sensitive to rust, which is why we recommend that you clean and maintain the product for an ideal cooking surface. 

Maintenance after use 

You cannot keep the wok outside for a longer period of time. Prolonged exposure to wet conditions causes rust and unnecessary wear. It is therefore important to keep the wok indoors after use, so that it can last as long as possible and to avoid having to buy a replacement copy.
