The Dimplex Engine 56-600 MB Opti-myst Mirror is a popular built-in fireplace with a 3-dimensional Opti-myst flame effect. The flame effect is created by illuminating ultra-fine water vapour. The Engine 56-600 MB offers you the atmosphere of a real fireplace and can be operated with a remote control. With one push of the button you can create a realistic fire view. This built-in fire has a mirrored rear that makes the flames stand out.

The Engine 56-600 Mirror is equipped with a heating element and thermostat and can provide 1 or 2 kW of heat. So this fire not only brings you atmosphere, but also provides a little extra warmth to your home.

Ambient fire based on Opti-myst technology

The special flame effect of this ambient fire is created by illuminating water vapour. In a Dimplex fireplace with Opti-myst technology, there is a water tank under the emberglow bed from which a mist generator produces water mist. Lamps behind the water tank heat the air, which transports the mist upwards. The rising mist is distributed over the emberglow bed and reflects in the light(Halogen). This Opti-myst fire consists of two colours, and the lighting creates a natural flame picture and a realistic "smoke".

A water reservoir, light (halogen), and an evaporator create revolutionary flames, indistinguishable from real fire. On a full tank, the fire burns for 8-10 hours. The released ultra-thin water vapour also contributes to the moisture balance in the house. Unfortunately, we cannot give any guarantee on the lamps and transducer (evaporator), as these are wearing parts of the fireplace. Of course we can provide you with these parts quickly!
