Double grilling is double chilling. With the grill insert, if you have Feuerhand's grill plate, you can now double grill. You place the grill plate on the fire barrel and can place this grill insert on the stand in the middle of the griddle. This way, you expand the cooking surface and can bake and grill at the same time. Or use the grill as a stable base plate for a simmering pan or Dutch Oven.
