The Digna patio fire from FORNO is an outdoor fire of the very highest quality. The fire is made from 3 mm thick CortenSteel and is double-walled. In terms of design, the FORNO outdoor fireplaces can be called quirky, timeless and unique. The Digna has 4 viewing sides, so everyone can enjoy the beautiful play of fire. Even when you are not using the fireplace, it is an asset to your garden.

A feast for the eyes and practical to use

The FORNO Digna garden fire has a unique design with beautiful, straight forms and is fitted with a handy storage compartment for your fire logs. This is not only beautiful to look at, but also extremely practical. You have your firewood at hand and don't have to move it around all the time. 

The combustion part of the fireplace is somewhat higher than in other garden fireplaces. Due to this height, the moving flames are clearly visible and the FORNO Digna gives off even more cosy heat. 

The latter also applies to a stove pipe. You must order these separately. They are available in three sizes (length 50, 75 and 100 cm). In addition, FORNO offers the possibility to order separate connectors (45 and 90°) with which you can attach the pipe outside of a roof, for example a veranda. Very handy and in this way, a FORNO patio fire can be placed in almost any situation.

Made of no less than 3 mm thick CortenSteel

The FORNO garden fire is made from no less than 3 mm thick CortenSteel. The garden fire can therefore remain outside in all weathers and does not need to be covered. The fireplace is namely made from a copper-bearing type of steel (Corten).

CortenSteel is also known as weather-resistant steel. One of the characteristics of Corten steel is its brown-orange rust colour and its long lifespan. The lifespan is so long because the first layer of corrosion stops further damage by rust so that painting is not necessary and maintenance is very low. The more you use the FORNO Digna, the more beautiful it becomes. In time, the steel will acquire a beautiful, natural patina.

Please note: It can happen that a certain type of CortenSteel fire bowl will not immediately have a rust-look. At first, you might think that the wrong product was delivered. Nothing could be further from the truth. When you place the garden fireplace outside, humidity and/or rain will soon make the first layer of corrosion appear. Often the manufacturer delivers the fireplaces complete with a recognisable corrosion layer, but it also happens that the steel is still smooth and the first "rusting" has yet to appear. But don't worry, this happens very quickly.
