Quoco BASSO+ corten
The Piatto BASSO+ is the perfect cooking unit for a picnic or next to the lounge set. The BASSO+ has a height of 50 cm and is available in medium (ø106 cm) or large (ø116 cm) size. This fire bowl with baking tray and wooden protective ring is ideal for low-height cooking and has the same functionality as the PIATTO. With its small but sturdy base and adjustable feet, you can place the BASSO+ on various surfaces.
Using the BASSO+ cooking unit
The functionality of the BASSO+ is the same as the other Quoco outdoor kitchens. With the BASSO+, you receive a base, a fire bowl, a griddle and an oak protective edge. The protective rim is unique to Quoco outdoor kitchens and, in addition to safety with, for example, children and animals, it is used to put a bowl or glass on, for example.
Maintaining the oak protective surround
The oak protective edge is therefore very nice for safety and possibly to put something on. However, oak is not maintenance-free. Oak can shrink or expand when exposed to heat and moisture. So always dry the edge well and, if necessary, apply a protective layer over the wood.
