This handy Chicken Sitter allows you to cook your chicken thoroughly on the outside and steam it from the inside. With the Chicken Sitter from The Bastard you can grill a whole chicken sitting on the kamado. It cooks the meat evenly and gives the chicken a golden brown and crispy skin all around!

You can fill the Chicken Sitter with a liquid of your choice. The well known Chicken Beer is used a lot, of course you steam the chicken with beer. Other liquids like apple juice, wine and lemon juice with garlic are also used to cook the chicken inside. You put the chicken on the Chicken Sitter and place the whole thing in the kamado. For an extra crispy skin, rub the outside of the chicken with some (vegetable) oil or a delicious rub. Enjoy!
